HI ハイ）は、フランスを拠点に活躍するデザイナーMatali Crasset （マタリ・クラセット）がニースに手がけた都会的なホテルです。

HI（ハイ）は、ラグジュアリーを定義する伝統的な決まりごとからの解放と、上質なこだわりとサービスを提供する高級ホテルです。

HI（ハイ）は、地中海、プロムナード・デ・ゾングレから200ｍ。コンテンポラリー・ライフな空間で、発見と体験にあふれたご滞在をお楽しみ下さい。

HI （ハイ）の創業者オーナーはPatrick Elouarghi （パトリック・エルアルギ）とPhilippe Chapelet （フィリップ・シャプレ）。

デザインはマタリ・クラセット。グローバルな環境デザイン初作品です。

 Pop Ambient 2012  //  Kompakt 

POP AMBIENT 2012 begins in an unusually new but nevertheless somehow familiar fashion. MOHN with MANIFESTO is the opening act. A manifest of slowness. A slowness that Jörg Burger and Wolfgang Voigt have taken up as new mission. MOHN is their new ambient-grunge-down-beat project, scheduled to depart on its official musical journey to Middle Earth early 2012. What follows is equally surprising: the old KOMPAKT swashbuckler SUPERPITCHER is taking part for the very first time. His piece JACKSON is borne by a slightly uncanny, spherical voice floating above a jazzy pop accord coolness and faintly 70ies sequencer aesthetics. It is followed by a familiar face from past times who is making an anonymous return on KOMPAKT under his new pseudonym MOREK. PAN is a textbook example of a classical piece of pop ambient music. Timeless elegance.

Hi is a design and ecological hotel to live a contemporary experience.
However, HI is also concerned about well being and with a strong commitment to ecological values, in relation with today’s engagement to protect the planet.

_mineral organic paint on the hotel’s façade
_Organic restaurant, exclusive use of organic products for the breakfast and the restaurant
_Use of recycled paper in the administration
_Graphic materials for external and internal use printed without chlorinate chemicals with the label tcf
_Packaging of the boxes and usable materials of the restaurant made out of recycled materials
_Vegetal shampoo and shower gel available in the rooms without packaging
_Waste separation // sorting of recyclables
_Bicycles available in front of the hotel
_Essential oils scent diffused in all communal spaces
_Staff t-shirt made out in organic cotton
_Partnership with a fashion company named Miséricordia, products sold at the Hi Shop or used by our staff
_Ecological cleaning products used in the rooms, corridors and lift (non smoking)
_Gardening products with no chemical fertilizers
_Actions and communication with our clients for energy savings purposes (linen, water etc.)

Techno Corner (Active ou Hi-Studio)

A room devoted to image and sound like a private auditorium. The widescreen can be viewed from the comfort of the bed or the bath, with the television acting as a folding screen between the room and the bathroom.
/ The “sofablaster” is a couch with integrated speakers and headphones, and, in its arm-rests, a music collection from the Kompakt label.

Up & Down (Urban)

A braided chestnut shelf laid high on the wall, runs across the room dividing it into two zones : the upper zone is for services, the lower zone, for relaxing.
The bathing zone is located behind a chestnut rack, as if it were the threshold of a garden.

Happy Day (Urban)

This room emphasizes the passing from day to night through a metamorphosis. During the day, the room is a lounge with a couch with clear wood and acid green tones. At night, two wooden panels behind the couch open to reveal a pink alcove and the other half of the bed. The niche has all the comforts needed for the night : water, slippers …

White & White (Hi-Studio ou Terrasse)

This room is in immaculate white where the traditional codes of furniture have been disrupted. The table becomes a bed. The baldaquin bed becomes a bathtub (designed exclusively for HI), draped in white skaï with a fuchsia coloured Plexiglas ceiling. The room is dedicated to wellbeing with fresh and organic products.

Indoor Terrasse (Hi-Studio)

All the furniture is at the centre of the room. The furniture becomes a like a deck on an indoor terrace. At the far end of the terrace, an organic curtain provides some privacy while showering. The toilets are like a hut and when lighted, glow like a lantern.

Digital (Active)

A room with a graphic design theme inspired by cyber-culture. The walls are giant pixels, the furniture components are like the windows of a computer. One of these windows is a light-box, combining animated and still images, inciting once again new invitations and discoveries.

Rendez Vous (Terrasse)

A modular area, it can be a bath lounge or a working space. On entering, you discover a vast bathing area with a lava stone bathtub. This room has a private terrace, a complete living space with shower and adjustable seating.

Monospace (Urban ou Active)

The room is an open space, with three sections, each one associated with a colour or a function: comfort, relaxation and breathing.

Strates (Active)

Haut de Page

This room should be lived in layers: from bottom to top, store, rest, hydrate, energize, decompress, dream. The different functions are not distributed horizontally but vertically to change our view of daily life.

HI beach is an innovative concept that reconciles the simplicity of thes pleasure of the beach and the seaside. It develops a new logic of spaces. A beach where each of us will find their own rhythm and well-being. With HI, the beach becomes a way of living, simple and cordial betweens the sea and the city.
HI beach will have three areas and three ways of rediscovering these enjoyment of the beach.

Happy Bar

The bar is at the heart of the hotel. Its centrepiece is a suspended nacelle, impressive yet light, like a modern alcove. It structures the whole space, filtering the light coming in from both the street and the atrium garden.
In the evening, the atmosphere turns festive with lighting effects. The nacelle comes to life with the presence of live DJs (sound designed by Kompakt) or the Hi.mages video screenings.

A contemporary steam bath, made out entirely in resin. The hammam has two hot areas and two adjoining rooms, one for musical relaxation and the other one for massages. Wellbeing also means taking advantage of Nice’s wonderful climate, by relaxing in the atrium garden or on the room and spa terraces as well as the roof top pool with its panoramic view of the city.
